  What a letdown. I don't think I've been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn't have chips and salsa to start, but we could have overlooked that if it wasn't for everything else. The two of us got our dinner plates about five to seven minutes apart after a long wait -- my wife was halfway done with dinner before I got to start. Our coke refills (we had to flag down the guy) one came back half full with the old ice, the 2nd coke refill never came back at all. We asked for water refills once and were never offered water after that so we spent the second half of the meal with no coke and no water. No one came to check on us (or anyone else from what we saw) and ask how we were doing. The table behind us had a family of four and three of them were practically done eating before the mom got her plate for dinner about 15 minutes after the others. The gratuity was forced onto the bill and was more than I would have otherwise paid out given the quality of service. We finished our meals and wasn't offered a box to take the leftovers home -- he just scooped up the plates and walked off. The food itself was decent but for the price I would pick nearly all the other Sun Peaks restaurants over this one.

  So we were not able to express our unhappiness by the tip, hence my first and only google review. Don’t force customers to tip your staff when they don’t deserve it or haven’t even tried to earn it.

  Seafood enchilladas have a delicious medley of seafood. The fish in the fish tacos, the fish was covered with crisp batter on the outside with moist yet not oily on the inside.

  The food was great, however the service was not okay. The server had only three tables yet: 15 min wait for drink order (which had one wrong), the drinks were never asked to be replaced all meal, requested waters were not delivered, one meal was forgotten, nachoes (no tomato, with sour cream and salsa on the side) was delivered wrong twice and was still wrong the third time. Meals all arrived at different times, about 10-12 minutes between the first meal and the last arriving.

  Food was good.... but was very upset to find out they hide a gratitude on the bill and then don't mention anything. So you end up tipping twice here. I tip good anyways and to find out they hide a tip and then have the interac machine ask to tip again! Just for that I will never eat here again.

  The icing on the cake was that the restaurant AUTOMATICALLY ADDS 15% TIP (for any size group)...which is apparently written in the menu somewhere.
